ANNOUNCEMENTS
► PEO will be here tomorrow, November 21, 2024, from 12-3:30pm in the lounge.
► Finance will meet tomorrow, November 21, 2024, at 4:45pm.
► Just a reminder to all committees, if you are working on a project in the church, please check with the office. Our church is getting busier, and people are utilizing our space. At minimum, check the church calendar that is put out every month. We have a couple of conflicts with the lounge that have been scheduled for quite a while. As you know, the lounge kitchen is torn apart. We have to do projects when we can get the contractor, and we will get through it together. It was just a reminder to please check the calendar or with the office. Speaking of……. Here’s what’s happening with the lounge kitchen. ▼▼
► Bob Ballard and Rick Parkos have been busy cleaning out the lounge kitchen. Darren Kimble will begin fixing the peeling wall. (Yeah!) Darren is the husband of Nellie Kimble and a son-in-law to Linda Smith. For those wondering about the potluck this Sunday, Dennis Thompson will set up tables in the hallway, like we have for funerals. You will be able to sit in the lounge and in the hallway. We are excited for the Hanging of the Greens and the potluck to follow. Please join us!
► And while we are on the subject of the lounge kitchen, Trustees are wanting to know about a paint color. They are leaning towards a light green or yellow. What are your thoughts? Please let Bob Ballard or another Trustee know. Karen told Bob that women are particular about their kitchen. 
Some feel we have tooooo much white in the church. Please let your thoughts be known. This is YOUR church!
► Hanging of the Greens will be after service this Sunday, November 24, 2024. We hope you can stay and help decorate the church for Christmas. A potluck will follow. The poinsettias will be delivered and arranged on the alter before next Sunday. The scheduled delivery date is December 05, 2024.
►The BMW Christmas Brunch is coming up December 18, 2024. This Sunday, you’ll be able to sign up. More information is coming. It will be held again at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.
►BMW Fancy Nuts have arrived! Good quality nuts that make a great Christmas or birthday gift. Cashews, Mixed Nuts, Mammoth Pecans, Walnuts and Chocolate Amaretto Pecans. Order forms are in the hallway outside the Sanctuary doors.

► Next Communion will be December 08, 2024.
► Have you noticed the new font in the Sunday bulletin? Deborah wanted to try it and we would like your opinion one way or the other. Drop an email if you noticed or if you care. Haha! It is a little bigger and we’re hoping, easier to read.
► As you can tell, we have also changed the format of the weekly newsletter. Karen was trying to send it out like past Newsletters, since we stopped sending one every month. I understand this is easier to read and some of you are not able to open files. Hopefully, this is now to everyone’s satisfaction.
► Thank you Dennis Thompson for moving all the nuts from the pallet in the entryway, up to the library. The delivery man could not fit the pallet in the elevator. We appreciate all the little things you do.
► Finance is still working on the 2025 budget. Please turn in your pledge cards. There are extra blue 2025 pledge sheets located as you walk into the sanctuary. This helps the committee look and prepare for expenses in 2025. Thank you!
► Thank you to those of you who sent a card or a sympathy message in the loss of my sister, Kathy Flogstad. Unfortunately, we lost a pet as well the day after we returned home. It is through strong friendships and family that we make it through times like these. Thank you so much to all our church family here at United Methodist.
